Life
This painting is called "Life". I was thinking of a tide pool while I was painting this painting. My compositions often has a dynamic sense of movement, which I love, but with this one I wanted a more pensive feeling. I used very saturated colours in reference to the starfish, sea anemones, and other sea creatures that live in the ocean. I live right on the coast of British Columbia and see pools Ike this that are just full of life, and that's what I wanted to portray.
Each print is printed on 285gsm watercolor paper. Please remember that the colours may vary slightly from your monitor. The painting will be slightly cropped depending on the size you choose, but it will only be a small amount.
