Pacific Water
I was thinking of water when I made this painting. The colours and sense of movement remind me of where I live in the Pacific Northwest. I live in a temperate rainforest, so there is water everywhere. Not only are there rivers and waterfalls, but I also live by the ocean. The colours and movement in this painting remind me so strongly of the coast, with tidal pools and brown seaweed. The colours also remind me of the evergreen trees and ferns of our forests.
